Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including detailed medical history analysis and physical examinations
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting diagnostic imaging and laboratory results
• Team up with surgeons in creating and implementing personalized surgical care plans
• Provide intraoperative assistance, ensuring the operating room is prepared, and patients are positioned safely while transferring surgical tools during operations
• Oversee outstanding pre-operative and post-operative care, including medication provision, wound management, patient discharge planning, and education

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preferably have completed clinical rotations with a focus on surgical practices

Certifications

• Must hold a current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Valid certificates for BLS and ACLS are required
• Able to obtain State licensure as a Physician Assistant
