Summary: The Athletic Trainer will be responsible for providing evaluations, ergonomic risk assessments and solution development, program management, and wellness services.
Qualifications:
- Must be licensed in the State of Ohio.
- Must be CPR and First Aid certified and maintain certification at own cost.
- Must be comfortable with and self-motivated enough to work independently.
- Must be highly organized, detail orientated, and able to multi-task easily.
- Experience working within an industrial environment is highly preferred.
- Experience with musculoskeletal injury triage/early intervention is highly preferred.
- Experience in Ergonomics is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Providing program management and client support as required
- Conducting assessments of employee musculoskeletal concerns. If appropriate, developing an action plan, addressing symptoms under OHSA allowable first aid, and provide worksite coaching.
- Conducting industrial audits and pre-shift stretching programs.
- Collaborate with coaches, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Educate athletes on proper techniques and injury management.
