Medical Laboratory Scientist – Full-Time, Evening Shifts (40 Hours Per Week)
Schedule:
- Shifts: Evening shifts, 2:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- Hours: 40 hours per week
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Medical Laboratory Scientist II to join our high-energy team. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology, including a state-of-the-art automation line, Epic Beaker, and SoftBank LIS Systems. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will provide high-quality diagnostic services that support patient care and healthcare innovations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct complex laboratory tests in multiple disciplines, including chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and blood bank.
- Operate and maintain advanced laboratory equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability of results.
- Analyze and interpret test data, adhering to stringent quality control and quality assurance standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely, accurate diagnoses and effective patient treatment.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and engage in ongoing professional development.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field.
- Certification: ASCP Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Technologist (MT) certification, or equivalent accrediting agency certification.
- Experience: Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS) such as Epic Beaker and SoftBank is a plus.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
