Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-ray, fluoroscopy, and portable imaging, following established protocols and safety guidelines.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Position patients correctly to obtain clear and accurate images, adjusting equipment settings as needed.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and image quality.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnostic reports.
• Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any adverse reactions or changes in condition.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of patients, staff, and visitors.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Stay current with advancements in imaging technology and participate in continuing education to enhance professional knowledge and skills.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in radiologic technology or related field.
• Current and valid certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Indiana State Licensure as a Radiologic Technologist or eligible for licensure.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
