Position Overview:


MLR Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients, utilizing your expertise to enhance their respiratory function and improve their overall quality of life.

 

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited two-year or four-year Respiratory Care Program (preferably CoARC-accredited).
  • Certification as a Respiratory Therapist (CRT) from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • A valid Respiratory Therapist (RT) license in Ohio or a temporary RT permit.
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card (can be obtained upon hire).
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 180 days of hire.

Job Summary:


As a Respiratory Therapist at our facility, you will play an essential role in delivering high-quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing and treating patients with respiratory conditions.
  • Managing ventilators and conducting diagnostic tests.
  • Developing and implementing individualized respiratory care plans.
  • Administering treatments such as aerosol medications, oxygen therapy, and mechanical ventilation.
  • Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed.
