Position Overview:

 

We are seeking a qualified and motivated Polysomnographic Technologist to join our day shift team. This position is integral to our mission of providing top-tier sleep diagnostic services. In this role, you will conduct sleep studies that are essential for diagnosing and treating sleep disorders, contributing directly to improving patients’ health and quality of life.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Polysomnographic Testing: Perform sleep studies in line with established protocols and individualized patient needs.
  • Monitor Patient Data: Analyze patient data throughout the sleep study to ensure precise, reliable results.
  • Maintain Equipment & Environment: Prepare and maintain testing equipment, ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient testing environment.
  • Collaborate with Team: Work closely with sleep physicians, technologists, and respiratory therapists to ensure comprehensive, high-quality patient care.
  • Document & Report: Accurately document and provide detailed reports on sleep study results for use in diagnosis and treatment planning.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduation from an accredited Polysomnography Program or equivalent training and experience.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience preferred, but not required.
  • Certifications:
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
    • RPSGT (Registered Polysomnographic Technologist) or RST (Registered Sleep Technologist) certification preferred.
    • Certification as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will also be considered.
