Neuro Diagnostic Technologist
Full Time, Days, 40 hours per week
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Neuro Diagnostic Technologist to join our team. As a Neuro Diagnostic Technologist, you will play a crucial role in performing neuro diagnostic procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological disorders. This position offers the opportunity to work full time during daytime hours.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct neuro diagnostic tests including EEGs (Electroencephalograms), evoked potentials, and nerve conduction studies.
- Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns they may have.
- Ensure equipment is properly calibrated and maintained for accurate test results.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to analyze and interpret test results.
- Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient information.
Education and/or Experience:
- Completion of a one-year certificate program from a college or technical school.
- Six months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- R.EEGT. Credential (board registered electroencephalographic technologist) and/or completion of an Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited Neuro diagnostics Program.
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
