MLR is seeking a dedicated and skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform a range of nuclear medicine procedures while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Nuclear Med Tech Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program, resulting in a certificate or degree
• Valid IEMA License in Nuclear Medicine.
• Current certification with ARRT(NM) or NMTCB.
• Maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Nuclear Med Tech Job Description

• The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs nuclear medicine procedures under the direction of a radiologist, operating independently without the need for constant technical supervision. They follow ALARA principles and comply with all regulatory standards to ensure safe, effective patient care.

Nuclear Med Tech Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of nuclear medicine procedures, including scans, injections, and therapeutic treatments.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals according to established protocols.
• Operate and maintain nuclear medicine imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare providers to interpret results and provide accurate documentation.
• Educate patients on procedures, addressing their concerns and ensuring comfort.
