MLR is seeking a skilled and dedicated Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will perform a variety of nuclear medicine procedures while ensuring patient safety and delivering the highest quality care.
Nuclear Medicine Technologist Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program, resulting in a certificate or degree.
- Valid IEMA license in Nuclear Medicine.
- Current ARRT(NM) or NMTCB certification.
- BLS certification.
Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Description:
As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will independently perform nuclear medicine procedures under the guidance of a radiologist. You will adhere to ALARA principles and regulatory standards to deliver safe, effective care to patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a range of nuclear medicine procedures, including scans, injections, and therapeutic treatments.
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with established protocols.
- Operate and maintain nuclear medicine imaging equipment, ensuring optimal safety and performance.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to interpret results and provide accurate documentation.
- Educate and reassure patients about procedures, addressing concerns and ensuring comfort.
