McCall and Lee has been engaged by a client to recruit a Laboratory Supervisor for their growing team in Illinois.
Qualifications:
  • Degree in Medical Technology
  • Valid ASCP or AMT certification required
  • 1-2 years of lab leadership experience
Responsibilities:

• The Laboratory Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all of the functions within the laboratory

• Testing, staffing, training, scheduling, maintaining supplies, and relating with department administration, other labs, and physicians

• Ensures that services are of the best quality, are cost contained, and are carried out in an expeditious manner

• Serves patients by providing medical laboratory diagnostic and therapeutic information, products, and services

• Responsible for recognizing results or problems that require referral to the laboratory director or pathologist
