MLR is looking for a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our imaging team. In this role, you will conduct high-quality CT scans and deliver exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, work well with the healthcare team, and be committed to ensuring patient safety and comfort.

CT Technologist Required Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree from a JRCERT-accredited Radiology program.
• ARRT certification, Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) licensure, and BLS CPR certification.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.

CT Technologist Preferred Qualifications:

• Completion of a CT certification program.
• CT Certification.

CT Technologist Job Description

• Operate computed tomography (CT) scanners to capture detailed images of various parts of the body.
• Prepare patients for CT procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring they are comfortable.
• Administer contrast agents as required, either orally or intravenously, following safety protocols.
• Ensure high-quality imaging by adjusting scanner settings, verifying images, and repeating scans if necessary.
• Adhere to safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure and ensure patient safety throughout the procedure.
