Job Description:


As an Acute Radiation Physicist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of radiation therapy to patients. You will collaborate closely with oncologists, radiation therapists, and other medical staff to develop treatment plans, conduct quality assurance checks, and optimize radiation delivery systems.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct quality assurance for radiation therapy equipment and treatment plans.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee protocols for radiation safety and treatment optimization.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to create individualized patient treatment plans.
  • Perform dose calculations and assist in the implementation of advanced radiation techniques.
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards and guidelines.
  • Educate staff and patients on radiation safety and treatment processes.
  • Participate in research initiatives and contribute to the advancement of the field.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or PhD in Medical Physics or a related field.
  • Board certification in Medical Physics (ABMP, ABR, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Minimum of [X] years of experience in radiation oncology.
  • Strong knowledge of radiation safety regulations and quality assurance practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
