*MLee Healthcare is looking for a qualified Histology Technologist / Technician to join an established hospital in Illinois*

Shift Details:
  • Multiple shifts available
Job Summary for the Histology Technologist / Technician:
  • Prepares microscopic tissue slides from surgical specimens for diagnostic purposes.
  • In addition, performs clerical and computer related activities with a degree of supervision dependent on experience and training.
  • Position is responsible for technical operation of specialized histological assays including training, education and continued quality improvement of the high complexity procedures.
Minimum Qualifications for the Histology Technologist / Technician:
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in required field
  • HT (ASCP) required
  • 1 year of lab experience (experience in histology preferred)
