Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and perform radiation therapy treatment planning using advanced software and techniques.
  • Conduct quality assurance tests on radiation equipment to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and refine treatment plans.
  • Train and support staff on radiation safety protocols and procedures.
  • Engage in research, quality improvement initiatives, and departmental projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Medical Physics, Radiation Physics, or a related field.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Radiology Therapeutic Physics or Medical Physics required.
  • Proficiency in 3-D conformal planning.
  • Completion of a two-year residency in Medical Physics is preferred.
