Director of Nursing Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee nursing operations in the Emergency Department.
- Provide strategic direction and guidance for the nursing staff.
- Foster a culture of excellence, compassion, and efficiency within the department.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
- Implement and enforce quality standards and best practices.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
- Manages operational procedures and budgets.
Director of Nursing Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with current licensure in Illinois
- Extensive experience in emergency nursing
- 2+ years of supervisory experience in nursing
- Bachelor's of Science in Nursing required
- Master's degree in Nursing or Health Management / Administration preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and healthcare standards
- Proven ability to lead and inspire a high-performing nursing team
