Nurse Manager Responsibilities: As the Surgical Nurse Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of our surgical unit. Key responsibilities include:

• Leadership: Provide effective leadership to the surgical nursing staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
• Clinical Oversight: Ensure high-quality patient care by overseeing surgical nursing practices and maintaining compliance with industry standards and protocols.
• Team Development: Recruit, train, and mentor nursing staff, promoting professional growth and maintaining a skilled and motivated team.
• Operational Efficiency: Implement and optimize processes to enhance efficiency in surgical services, collaborating with other departments for seamless patient care.

Qualifications for the Surgical Nurse Manager:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license in the state of Illinois.
• Minimum of 5 of experience in surgical nursing, with proven leadership abilities.
• 2+ years of leadership experience in surgical nursing.
• Strong knowledge of surgical nursing practices, regulations, and accreditation standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
