Critical Care Unit Registered Nurse Position Overview:

MLR is seeking a skilled and compassionate Critical Care Unit (CCU) Registered Nurse to join our exceptional team. In this role, you’ll provide high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment. 

 

Key Responsibilities for Critical Care Unit Registered Nurse:

  • Patient Monitoring & Assessment: Continuously assess and monitor patients in critical condition, using advanced equipment and tools to track vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment.
  • Care Coordination & Implementation: Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed, and work with the healthcare team to create and implement personalized care plans.
  • Patient & Family Education: Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families, offering guidance on treatment options, procedures, and recovery plans.
  • Collaboration with Healthcare Team: Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate, detailed records of patient care, progress, and outcomes, ensuring compliance with all hospital policies and healthcare regulations.

Qualifications for Critical Care Unit Registered Nurse:

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Certification: Valid state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Experience: Experience in critical care, ICU, or emergency nursing is preferred, but strong new graduate nurses with a passion for critical care are welcome to apply.
  • Skills: Strong clinical skills, excellent decision-making abilities, and the capacity to remain calm under pressure in fast-paced situations.
