Assess results for accuracy, troubleshoot minor instrumentation issues, and perform scheduled preventive maintenance.

Collect and prepare blood specimens, when needed, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.

Collaborate with fellow lab professionals, students, and clinical personnel to support diagnostic workflows.

Apply independent judgment while adhering to clinical guidelines and compliance protocols.

Successful completion of the ASCP or AMT Board of Certification CLS exam within the first year of employment.

Active maintenance of certification as defined by certifying agency guidelines.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

Strong interpersonal communication skills for patient and provider interactions.

Professional composure and clarity under pressure, especially during high-volume testing periods.

Adept problem-solving skills and technical acuity to manage daily lab challenges.

Enthusiasm for continuous improvement and commitment to precision in every test.

Why Join Us?

Competitive Hourly Pay: based on experience and skills.

Day-One Benefits: 24 hours of Vacation and Holiday Time for candidates with 5+ years’ experience.

Comprehensive Total Rewards: Medical, dental, vision, retirement, recognition programs, and more.

Mission-Driven Culture: Join an organization deeply rooted in service, compassion, and human connection.

A Role That Goes Beyond the Lab

Where Professional Impact Meets Personal Belonging

We know that great clinical science is built on collaboration and compassion. When you step into the lab, you’ll find more than high-tech instruments and structured workflows—you’ll find a team that genuinely cares. You’ll be working alongside individuals who are deeply committed to both the precision of their practice and the people they serve.

This isn’t just a place to run samples—it’s a place to grow, mentor, learn, and lead. Whether you're mentoring students, managing complex test protocols, or collaborating with physicians for diagnostic clarity, your voice will matter. Your judgment will be trusted. Your contributions will be recognized.

And through it all, you’ll be supported by a mission that never loses sight of the people behind the numbers.

Who You’ll Work With — and Why You’ll Stay

The laboratory team here is made up of sharp minds and kind hearts. You’ll find seasoned professionals who can troubleshoot an analyzer blindfolded, and newer techs bringing fresh energy to every challenge. It’s a place where collaboration isn't just encouraged—it's the norm.

You’ll also feel the presence of a larger calling dedicated to holistic healing and community care. That means opportunities for continuing education, clinical innovation, and personal enrichment, all within an environment that sees you as a whole person—not just a job title.

Discover a Slice of the Midwest Where Life Just Feels Right

Just a short drive west from bustling Chicago, you’ll find yourself in a riverfront town where history, nature, and neighborliness converge. The area is rich in character and charm—think Victorian homes with wraparound porches, cozy diners that still serve homemade pie, and tree-lined streets that light up with color each fall.

Here, the Rock River winds its way through the community, offering scenic spots for fishing, kayaking, and reflective morning walks. The region is dotted with state parks and prairie preserves where you can unplug and recharge. On weekends, you might find yourself at a local art festival, farmers market, or outdoor concert in one of the town squares.

This is the kind of place where time slows down just enough to let you appreciate what really matters. Families flourish here with great schools and safe neighborhoods, while outdoor enthusiasts enjoy endless trails, bike paths, and nature centers.

And with low cost of living, minimal traffic, and no shortage of charm, you’ll quickly find that your paycheck goes farther and your time off feels fuller.

Let’s Make Something That Matters

If you're looking to apply your training where it counts—in a community that values both your technical skill and your human touch—this could be the start of something truly meaningful. We’re not just filling a position. We’re building a team of dedicated caregivers who want to shape the future of medicine while remaining deeply rooted in the values that define us.

If this sounds like the place—and the purpose—you’ve been looking for, we’d love to hear from you.

Apply today and help us bring diagnostic excellence to life, one patient at a time.
