ARRT CT Technologist Qualifications

• Associate’s degree. Graduate of JRCERT-accredited school of Radiology.
• Licensure/ Certification: ARRT, IEMA, BLS CPR

ARRT CT Technologist Job Description

• The Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist provides patient-focused imaging services in the field of CT. Under the supervision of a radiologist, the CT Technologist performs a variety of CT exams and procedures with technical expertise. They administer ionizing radiation to produce high-quality diagnostic images, following ALARA principles and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards to deliver safe and effective patient care.

ARRT CT Technologist Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct CT imaging procedures according to established protocols and standards.
• Prepare and position patients for scans, ensuring clear communication and comfort.
• Operate and maintain CT equipment, troubleshooting as necessary.
• Collaborate with radiologists to interpret imaging results and provide accurate documentation.
• Adhere to safety protocols and radiation dose guidelines, following ALARA principles.
