Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, such as X-rays, in line with established protocols and safety standards.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
• Operate imaging equipment, performing routine maintenance and quality checks for optimal function.
• Work closely with physicians and healthcare staff to ensure accurate interpretation of images.
• Maintain thorough and accurate patient records in accordance with healthcare regulations.
• Educate patients on the imaging process, addressing any questions or concerns.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field from an accredited program.
• Current ARRT certification and Illinois state licensure.
• Strong understanding of imaging techniques, safety standards, and patient care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
