Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments and individual patient needs
- Collaborate with patients’ families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and effective care
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation of patient progress and therapy sessions
- Educate patients and families on communication techniques and strategies to improve outcomes
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current on industry trends, best practices, and treatment methodologies
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Illinois state license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous clinical experience is a plus, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with a compassionate approach to patient care
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
