Position Overview:

MLR Healthcare is looking for a meticulous and dedicated Medical Technologist to join our dynamic laboratory team. In this role, you will conduct various laboratory tests and analyses, ensuring the accuracy of results that directly impact patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform complex laboratory tests in areas such as microbiology, hematology, chemistry, and blood banking.
• Ensure accuracy and reliability of results by adhering to established protocols and quality control measures.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret results and recommend further testing when necessary.
• Document procedures and results in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Assist in training and mentoring new team members and students.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or a related field.
• Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or equivalent from a recognized certifying body (e.g., ASCP, AMT).
• Comprehensive knowledge of laboratory procedures, safety protocols, and quality assurance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
