Job Title: Medical Technologist MT / MLT

Position Type: Full-Time Generalist

Shifts: 2nd & 3rd Shift

Summary:

We are seeking an ideal candidate to join our team as a Medical Technologist. In this role, you will be responsible for performing and monitoring a wide range of laboratory testing and analysis. You will also handle problem resolution, ensure quality control, and maintain required equipment with minimal supervision.

Qualifications:

Active certification through ASCP or AMT required (eligible candidates for cert within 6 months will be considered)

Minimum of 6 months of Medical Laboratory Technologist/Technician experience required

Basic grasp of scientific laboratory procedures, including equipment usage and report generation

Responsibilities:

Conduct laboratory tests on blood and bodily fluids using complex equipment to obtain valuable information

Examine specimens for bacteria, viruses, or parasites

Measure levels of drugs or chemicals in the blood to optimize medication effectiveness

Analyze chemical content of the blood to identify nutrient deficiencies or cholesterol/blood sugar imbalances

Utilize various equipment such as cell counters, cultures, and microscopes
