Speech Language Pathologist
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat clients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessments and each client's specific needs
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure comprehensive and effective care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and therapy sessions
- Educate clients and families on communication strategies and techniques
- Engage in ongoing professional development and stay current with best practices in the field
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Illinois state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to patient care
- Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
- Clinical experience is a plus, but new graduates are welcome to apply
