We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Histology Technician to join our client's team. As a Histology Technician, you will be responsible for supporting our laboratory operations by assisting with the preparation and analysis of tissue samples. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about histology to gain valuable experience and contribute to the success of our [lab/facility/etc.].

Responsibilities:

• Assist in routine histological procedures, including tissue processing, embedding, microtomy, and staining.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment under supervision.
• Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure accurate and efficient specimen processing.
• Collaborate with certified histology technicians and pathologists to contribute to the overall diagnostic process.
• Maintain organized records of specimens, tests, and results.
• Adhere to safety protocols and quality assurance standards.

Qualifications:

• High School Graduate or Equivalent and a combination of at least 12 semester hours of biology and chemistry (at least 6 credit hours of each) from a regionally accredited college/university; or successful completion of a NAACLS accredited HT or HTL program.
• One year of Laboratory experience.
• Basic understanding of histological techniques and procedures.
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
