We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Certified Histology Technician to join our client's dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our [lab/facility/etc.] by preparing and analyzing tissue samples for diagnostic purposes. As a Certified Histology Technician, you will work closely with our team of professionals to ensure accurate and timely results that contribute to the overall quality of patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and complex histological procedures, including tissue processing, embedding, microtomy, and staining.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure accurate and efficient processing of specimens.
• Prepare and troubleshoot special stains and immunohistochemical procedures.
• Collaborate with pathologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis.
• Maintain accurate records of specimens, tests, and results.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and quality assurance standards.

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Histology Technician (HT) from an accredited program.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience working as a Histology Technician in a clinical laboratory setting.
• Strong understanding of histological techniques and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
