MRI Technologist

We have been engaged by one of our clients in the region to recruit an MRI Technician to join their growing team. We are seeking a dedicated professional who is passionate about their work and committed to delivering accurate and timely results.

 

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality MRI scans on patients, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the process.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, and answer any questions they may have.
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety protocols.
• Position patients correctly and adjust equipment settings to obtain the best possible images.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to evaluate images and provide accurate interpretations.
• Maintain patient records, documenting procedures, and results accurately and efficiently.
• Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements and best practices in MRI technology and techniques.

Requirements:

• Associate degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
• Certification in MRI Technology from an accredited program.
• Current registration or license as an MRI Technologist.
• Proven experience operating MRI equipment and performing scans.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working as an MRI Technician in a clinical setting.
• Proficiency in using MRI software and image analysis tools.
• Familiarity with PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) and RIS (Radiology Information System).
