Radiology Technologist

Job Description:
We are currently seeking a qualified Radiologic Technologist to join our dynamic team. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a crucial role in the diagnostic process, utilizing advanced imaging technology to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions.
Shift: Days/Nights
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and position patients for imaging, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring quality images are obtained.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to obtain necessary patient information and ensure accurate diagnoses.
- Evaluate images for technical quality and perform basic image analysis.
- Follow radiation safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Assist in the training and orientation of new staff members as needed.
- Stay informed about advancements in imaging technology and participate in continuing education.
Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist.(ARRT)
- CPR/BLS certification.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient care and safety.
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred.
- Some CT experience preferred
