In this crucial role, you’ll have the chance to make a significant impact on patients' lives, guiding them through their recovery journey with personalized, high-quality care.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Patient Assessment: Perform comprehensive assessments, considering patients' medical histories, physical conditions, and rehabilitation goals.
  • Care Planning: Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to create individualized care plans tailored to each patient’s recovery.
  • Patient Monitoring: Continuously track patients' progress, ensuring optimal care and adjustments as needed.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications with precision and provide essential patient education on their use and side effects.
  • Therapeutic Support: Assist with daily living activities and mobility exercises to promote healing and independence.
  • Education & Support: Empower patients and their families with knowledge about the rehabilitation process, discharge planning, and home care resources.
  • Collaborative Care: Work closely with physical, occupational, and speech therapists to deliver comprehensive, coordinated care.
  • Emergency Response: Be ready to act quickly in medical emergencies, ensuring patient safety and prompt interventions.
  • Quality Care: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, consistently upholding the highest standards of inpatient rehabilitation.

What You Bring:

  • Licensure: Current RN licensure appropriate to state regulations.
  • Certifications: BLS required (ACLS preferred). CRRN certification is a plus.
  • Experience: Previous clinical experience in a hospital setting is preferred but not required.
