Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Current Idaho state license in Speech-Language Pathology or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.
- Experience: While prior experience is advantageous, we welcome new graduates who bring enthusiasm and a commitment to excellence.
- Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach to care.
Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive Evaluations: Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose speech, language, cognitive communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Individualized Treatment Plans: Develop and implement customized therapy programs tailored to each patient's needs and goals.
- Collaborative Care: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, educators, and family members, to ensure holistic patient care.
- Patient and Family Education: Provide guidance and support to patients and their families, fostering understanding and active participation in the therapeutic process.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of patient progress and adjust treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
