What You'll Do:
- Precision Imaging: Perform MRI scans following physician orders and established protocols, ensuring every image is clear and accurate.
- Patient-Centered Care: Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, prioritizing their comfort, safety, and peace of mind throughout the process.
- Technical Mastery: Operate and maintain MRI equipment, ensuring it functions flawlessly and meets all safety standards.
- Effective Communication: Monitor patients during scans, providing reassurance and clear instructions to ensure cooperation and comfort.
- Quality Assurance: Evaluate MRI images for quality and clarity, making real-time adjustments as needed to guarantee optimal results.
- Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure the accurate interpretation of imaging results.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain meticulous patient records and adhere to all regulatory requirements to uphold the highest standards of care.
What You Bring:
- Education:
- Graduate from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology Program (required).
- Bachelor of Science degree (preferred).
- Certification / Licensure:
- State licensure that permits them to perform diagnostic MRI exams and documented training on the provision of diagnostic MRI exams.
- Registration and certification in radiography by ARRT with MRI credentials and documented training on the provision of diagnostic MRI exams.
- Experience:
- One (1) year of practicing MRI Technologist experience.
- Proficiency with most major MRI equipment manufacturer's hardware and software (GE, Siemens, Toshiba).
