Lead Occupational Therapist Opportunity (OTR)

We are seeking a Lead Occupational Therapist to play a crucial role in the rehabilitation department. The successful candidate will lead a team of dedicated occupational therapists, ensuring the highest quality of care is delivered to our clients. As a key leadership team member, the Lead Occupational Therapist will contribute to developing and implementing innovative therapy programs, mentor staff, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and direction to a team of occupational therapists, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Oversee the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for clients.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and physical therapists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
• Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of the occupational therapy team.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of occupational therapists, providing constructive feedback and support for professional development.
• Stay current on industry trends, research, and best practices to ensure the delivery of evidence-based occupational therapy services.
• Participate in developing policies and procedures to maintain high standards of care and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Idaho state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in occupational therapy.
• Proven leadership experience with a track record of successful team management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
