PTA Description:
We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to join our growing team at MLR.org. The PTA will assist physical therapists in providing treatment plans and rehabilitation services to patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or conditions affecting mobility. This position requires a motivated and compassionate professional to work alongside patients, ensuring a positive and efficient recovery experience.

PTA Responsibilities:

• Assist the physical therapist in implementing treatment plans and therapeutic interventions.
• Educate patients on exercises, posture, and techniques for pain relief.
• Monitor patient progress and document treatment sessions.
• Ensure proper equipment use and maintenance during therapy.
• Communicate effectively with patients, family members, and healthcare teams.
• Support in managing patient schedules and maintaining accurate records.

PTA Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Valid PTA licensure in [State/Country].
• Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
