Acute Nurse Manager - Critical Care / PCU

MLee Healthcare is seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual to join our healthcare team as a Nurse Manager specializing in Critical Care / Progressive Care Unit (PCU). As a pivotal leadership role, this position will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing nursing operations within the critical care and PCU departments.

Nurse Manager Key Requirements:

- Valid nursing license in the state of Illinois.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within Critical Care or PCU settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage and mentor nursing staff.
- Collaborative approach to interdisciplinary teamwork.

Responsibilities for the Nurse Manager of Critical Care and PCU:

- Provide leadership and direction to nursing staff in the Critical Care and PCU departments.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with other department heads to enhance patient care delivery.
- Oversee scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation within the units.
- Implement quality improvement initiatives and contribute to staff development.

Nurse Manager Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Nursing; Master's degree preferred
- Illinois State Licensure
- National Nursing Leadership Certification
- CPR and ACLS certification.
- Knowledge of current healthcare trends and best practices.
