What You’ll Do

Prepare Surgical Suites
Ensure the operating room is sterile and equipped with the necessary instruments, supplies, and technology for a successful procedure.

Support Intraoperative Care
Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments, maintaining sterile technique, and anticipating surgical team needs.

Maintain Surgical Standards
Adhere to strict infection control policies and aseptic practices to protect patient safety and surgical outcomes.

Facilitate Turnover and Recovery
Help prepare the OR for subsequent surgeries by cleaning, sterilizing instruments, and resetting supplies.

Collaborate Across the Surgical Team
Work alongside surgeons, nurses, and anesthesiologists to promote seamless, high-quality surgical care.

Qualifications

Education & Certification:

• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required

Experience:

• Prior experience in a hospital OR or surgical setting is a plus
• Exposure to general surgery, ortho, OB/GYN, or laparoscopic procedures preferred

Skills:

• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to sterile technique
• Calm under pressure with excellent multitasking abilities
• Strong communication and a collaborative mindset
