Physical Therapist Assistant Role Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team. In this role, you’ll work alongside physical therapists to implement treatment plans, assist patients with rehabilitation exercises, and help improve their mobility and overall physical function.
Physical Therapist Assistant Responsibilities:
- Assist in carrying out individualized treatment plans developed by physical therapists.
- Guide patients through prescribed exercises and therapeutic activities.
- Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the physical therapist.
- Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises, stretches, and injury prevention.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of therapy equipment and treatment areas.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient care.
Physical Therapist Assistant Requirements:
- Associate’s degree in Physical Therapy Assistance.
- Current PTA licensure.
- Experience in orthopedic or musculoskeletal rehabilitation preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with a diverse patient population.
- Compassionate, with a focus on patient care and support.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
