Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, encompassing physical assessments and exhaustive medical history reviews
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through skilled interpretation of imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement customized surgical treatment plans
• Provide essential intraoperative support, including preparation of surgical sites, patient positioning, and instrument handling
• Administer exemplary pre- and post-operative care, which encompasses medication management, wound treatment, discharge planning, and educating patients

Educational Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preference for candidates who have completed clinical rotations focusing on surgical settings

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
