Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with departmental protocols.
• Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, troubleshoot issues, and report malfunctions.
• Analyze technical information, evaluate images for quality, and communicate findings to the medical team.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis.
• Maintain patient records, documenting procedures, results, and other relevant information.
• Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
• ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification.
• State licensure as required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
• Proficient in the use and maintenance of ultrasound equipment.
