Job Duties

• Supply essential intraoperative assistance, ensuring operating rooms are ready, patients are positioned correctly, and surgical instruments are precisely handed off during procedures
• Provide exemplary pre- and post-operative care, covering medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Education Requirements

• Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preferred completion of clinical rotations emphasizing surgical practice

Certifications Needed

• Valid and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Required BLS and ACLS certifications
• State license (or eligibility) to practice as a Physician Assistant
