Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, encompassing both physical examinations and meticulous medical history reviews.
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through detailed interpretation of imaging and laboratory findings.
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment strategies.
• Provide intraoperative assistance, including readying the operating rooms, ensuring patient positioning, and expertly passing surgical instruments throughout procedures.
• Offer outstanding pre-operative and post-operative care, including medication management, wound treatment, discharge planning, and patient education initiatives.

Education Requirements

• Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Clinical rotation experience with a surgical focus is highly preferred.

Certifications Required

• Current and valid PA-C certification.
• BLS and ACLS certification mandatory.
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant.
