Position Overview

We are on the lookout for an accomplished and empathetic Ultrasound Technologist to join our remarkable imaging team. With access to cutting-edge ultrasound technology, you’ll be performing crucial diagnostic procedures, working collaboratively with a supportive cadre of clinicians, and providing comfort and clarity to patients through your skillful imaging.

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive array of ultrasound exams, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, ensuring clear and compassionate communication during every step of the procedure
• Engage proactively with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver top-notch diagnostic images
• Effectively operate and maintain imaging equipment, addressing any malfunctions swiftly
• Thoroughly document procedures and maintain precise patient records within the electronic medical system
• Keep abreast of advances in ultrasound imaging techniques and standards of practice

Education Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is highly preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
