We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Perfusionist to join our esteemed healthcare team at a well-respected organization. As a Perfusionist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional cardiac support during surgical procedures, contributing to our mission of delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate the heart-lung machine and other related equipment during open-heart surgeries and other cardiac procedures.
• Monitor and maintain cardiopulmonary functions of patients during surgery, adjusting equipment and parameters as necessary.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety throughout the procedure.
• Administer medications and blood products through the heart-lung machine as directed by the healthcare team.
• Provide specialized support during organ transplant and other complex surgical procedures.
• Assess and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and respond to emergencies promptly.
• Monitor and record patients' physiological data during surgery, documenting relevant information accurately.
• Participate in continuing education and training to stay updated with advancements in perfusion techniques and practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Perfusion or related field.
• Certification as a Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP) or equivalent certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Perfusionist in a hospital or healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac procedures, perfusion techniques, and equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with the surgical team.
• Attention to detail and ability to remain focused in high-pressure surgical environments.
• Commitment to patient safety, quality care, and continuous professional development.
