The Director of Surgical Services is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, strategic planning, and overall quality of care provided in the surgical department. This individual will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage departmental budgets, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. The Director will foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and patient-centered care, while maintaining operational efficiency and supporting staff development. 

Schedule: Days 

Pay: $101,317 - $127,345 

Key Responsibilities:  

• Oversee the daily operations of surgical services, including operating rooms, pre-operative care, post-anesthesia care units (PACU), and sterile processing. 
• Provide leadership to a multidisciplinary team, including surgeons, nurses, anesthesiologists, and support staff. 
• Ensure all surgical services adhere to hospital policies, state and federal regulations, and accreditation standards. 
• Develop, implement, and monitor quality improvement programs to enhance patient safety and care outcomes. 
• Monitor revenue and expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement strategies to optimize resource allocation. 

Key Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or related healthcare field required. 
• Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA), Business Administration (MBA), or Nursing preferred. 
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in surgical services, including at least 3 years in a leadership or management role. 
• Proven track record of improving surgical outcomes and operational performance.
