Senior Reimbursement Specialist
McCall and Lee has, been engaged by a community-based hospital to recruit a Full-Time Senior Reimbursement Specialist to join their team. We are seeking a well skilled, highly productive team player to work with their program.
Senior Reimbursement Specialist Responsibilities
- Enhances the timely collection and structuring of data across hospital facilities, supporting statutory reporting obligations
- Compiles essential DSH documentation and data, and organizes them for filing and revising DSH schedules as required
- Contributes to the month-end AR valuation process, which involves preparing schedules for bad debt
- Conducts annual contract reviews for incorporation into the wage index, sharing findings with the Manager
- Regularly updates wage index schedules on a quarterly basis to ensure accuracy
- Manages the processing of bi-weekly travelers' timesheets and accurately records them in contract labor schedules for the wage index
- Collects data efficiently and completes surveys accurately within set deadlines for review purposes
Senior Reimbursement Specialist Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 3-5 years of experience
