Ultrasound Team Lead

 

MLR is collaborating with a well-respected healthcare system to recruit a dedicated Ultrasound Team Leader. This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position is ideal for an experienced ultrasound technologist ready to step into a leadership role. As the Ultrasound Team Leader, you will oversee the daily operations of the ultrasound department, ensuring the delivery of top-tier patient care and high-quality imaging services.

 

Job Summary:

  • Oversee Daily Operations: Manage the scheduling, workflow, and efficiency of the ultrasound department, ensuring timely patient care and seamless operations.
  • Perform Advanced Ultrasound Imaging: Conduct advanced ultrasound procedures, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images and accurate results.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide precise and timely diagnostic information.
  • Maintain Equipment and Safety Protocols: Ensure all ultrasound equipment is maintained properly and that safety protocols and regulatory standards are consistently followed.
  • Lead and Mentor the Team: Supervise, mentor, and train ultrasound technologists, fostering an environment of continuous learning and professional development.
  • Quality Control and Improvement: Implement and monitor quality control measures, contributing to the department’s performance improvement initiatives and ensuring high standards of care.

Ultrasound Team Lead Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
  • Certification: RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) or equivalent certification is required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a registered ultrasound technologist.
  • Leadership Experience: Prior supervisory or leadership experience is preferred but not mandatory.
