Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures following established policies and protocols.
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and responses to interventions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Advocate for patients' rights and uphold ethical and legal standards of care.
- Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers, offering emotional support and addressing concerns.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care practices.
- Provide counseling and emotional support to patients and families.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current South Carolina RN license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; additional certifications may be required based on specialty and employer preferences.
- Clinical experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
