Your Key Responsibilities
- Utilize radiographic and CT modalities to produce high-quality diagnostic images for physicians' review
- Engage in teamwork with radiologists and healthcare colleagues to ensure precise diagnoses
- Accurately position patients and adjust equipment to achieve the best imaging results
- Follow radiation safety protocols to safeguard both patients and fellow staff
- Maintain accurate records, including imaging documentation and equipment servicing
- Deliver empathetic care and support to patients throughout the imaging procedure
- Foster a safe, organized, and efficient atmosphere within the imaging department
Educational Background
- Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology is required; a Bachelor’s Degree is a bonus
- Graduation from an accredited radiology program is essential
Certification Requirements
- ARRT certification in CT and/or Radiography is necessary
- Current BLS certification or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire
