Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a HT/ASCP certified Histology Technician to work full-time in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities:
- Process tissue specimens using standard histological techniques.
- Perform microtomy and staining for microscopic examination.
- Conduct quality control on laboratory equipment.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures.
- Collaborate with pathologists and team members.
Qualifications:
- High School graduate or GED equivalent.
- Histotechnician (HT) or Histotechnologist (HTL) certification.
- State licensure as a Histotechnician.
- Strong technical skills in tissue processing and staining.
- Effective communication and attention to detail.
