ASCP - Histology Technician

Histology Technician (HT/ASCP)

Full Time – Day Shift We are currently seeking a HT/ASCP certified Histology Technician to work full-time in an acute care facility.

Responsibilities:

• Process tissue specimens using standard histological techniques.
• Perform microtomy and staining for microscopic examination.
• Conduct quality control on laboratory equipment.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures.
• Collaborate with pathologists and team members.

Qualifications:

• High School graduate or GED equivalent.
• Histotechnician (HT) or Histotechnologist (HTL) certification.
• State licensure as a Histotechnician.
• Strong technical skills in tissue processing and staining.
• Effective communication and attention to detail.
