As an ED RN, you’ll be on the front lines of emergency care, providing critical support to patients in urgent need. On any given day, you’ll assess patients, triage based on severity, and provide immediate care for trauma victims, acute illnesses, and medical emergencies. You’ll monitor vital signs, administer treatments, and prepare patients for surgery or further care.
Your ability to collaborate with physicians, paramedics, and other healthcare professionals will be essential in stabilizing and treating patients. Additionally, you’ll educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and recovery, offering support during critical moments. Your role ensures that every patient receives timely, compassionate care.
